    Every metric whose chart has a published description now carries a written definition you can request on the API and read on the per-chart docs pages. Methodology version 2026-09-06.

    The Binance BTC/USDT candle series carry written definitions for what a candle row means, how open_time and close_time are defined, and that stored candles are not rewritten. Methodology version 2026-09-06.

    Two unit labels corrected

    Stablecoin supply series were labelled BTC and now read as token units. VanEck HODL USD series were labelled BTC and now read as USD.

    Most metrics now declare their unit in the API catalog and in the definition record, and units_source says where each unit came from.

    The WTI crude oil price now refreshes every day instead of once a week, and the API reports its update frequency as daily.

    The Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) now has its own series on the spot Bitcoin ETF flow charts and counts in both flow totals from its 31 Jul 2024 launch. MSBT's flow series are now in the API.
